eloise has an appointment with a pediatric hand surgeon next week. hoping for a good report & potential outcome! her finger & nail appear to be healing, as far as us non-medical people can tell.

we've had a really nice few days & it's gotten me so excited for summer! having my mom off work this week has been so fun! we've gone to the zoo & farmer's market, and tomorrow we're baking eloise's birthday cake- i can hardly believe we're entering age 2! eloise has been obsessed with the color orange for as long as she's had a color preference [i'm not surprised by this color choice from our quirky toddler!], so jon & i are hosting a small orange blossom brunch for our families. i can't wait to share the details of the big day! lucy gets to bake eloise's personal cake in her easy bake :)

recital rehearsal- the big day is saturday & lucy is so darn excited! [recital falls on eloise's birthday, of course...]

& last saturday marked 1 year since finding out queen bea was on the way! sweet doll baby.

jon finished the girls' basement dress-up closet- this has been a long time coming & it was so great for  them to discover it this morning! they've been down there 2 hours & counting this afternoon...

we had the best time at the market this morning- coffee, perfect weather & a sopping wet eloise :)

i'm headed to make a dinner salad with our pretty market goodies :)
