jon, betsy and eloise made their way to longboat key, florida via a crack of dawn flight and lots of excitement! they're spending the next week on vacation while lucy finishes up her tech week and opens her month-long run! we miss these 3 like crazy... but the sound of silence is pretty sweet, too ;)

we've swam, tye-dyed, thrift shopped, and talked alllll things matilda. lucy's thrilled for her meme sleepovers after her late nights, and i'm equally appreciative for a little time at home to just be!

living their best lives! 

eloise wrapped up tinitainers and her dance life chapter. she's beyond excited to begin art and trampoline classes + explore all things science. love this self-assured little girl and her big heart and big brain!

betsy lives for swimming and is adamant that she wants to add diving to her repertoire. she's continuing with dance and her favorite pastime remains being the center of attention and eating candy. 

lucy is completely obsessed with her show that opens a week from saturday. i may be ok to never hear the matilda soundtrack again after this summer given it's on repeat from the second she wakes up whether she's searching for youtube videos, reviewing choreography or dreaming of her own production's run. she's determined and focused, and is a truly hard worker. seeing her in her element is the best ever!

busy days, busy nights! lots and lots of fun crammed into summertime! i could use a nap.

summertime momming is no joke. we have activities or camps or classes or rehearsals from 830am clear until 10pm many nights. we squeeze in the pool where we can and i spend a lot of time ubering 3 little girls all over kansas city for their schedules or playdates or birthday parties. it's busy and fun and i'm grateful for the break from the exhausting grind of school backpacks into the rush of evening activities!! and as always, i look forward to those quiet moments at the end of the day with wine and my husband... where we laugh at the ridiculousness and greatness of it all. 

this past week brought tasman into town for a week with meme and cousins, school camps for the girls, a starlight performance for our tinitainers, dance classes, nightly matilda rehearsals for lucy, and betsy's first swim meet [or "swim meeting" as she calls it :)] where she killed it at the backstroke!! 

it's been so fun to help plan and host the 2nd grade girls' first communion tea party. eloise and i loved our afternoon of celebration with friends. <3 our HTS community.
