beatrice is seven!

seven candles for betsy claire! brave, dramatic, imaginative, tender-hearted, sneaky, chatty and filled with life! jon and i say she'll be the one telling us crazy stories when our family is sitting around drinking wine together in 15 years. in the meantime, she continues to turn us gray and give us solid laugh lines :) 

love her so and deeply honored to raise her. 

a little crazy to think we have a 7, 8, and 10 year old. time gets faster and more precious with each year.

christina and me in 1997's the sound of music at theatre in the park. fast-forward 26 years later and betsy is opting out of glamping with her tenderheart troupe on the night of her birthday to have christina's daughters over for pizza and a sleepover. life is wild... and i got out of spending the night at the school!! :)

frozen costume situation... jon's mom is sewing the nightgowns lucy and eloise will wear as young elsa and young anna, which means i got to pick out the fabrics and patterns! 

costuming is my forever favorite. 

first night of pre-pointe for our ballerina!

and a fun night of kid karaoke with musical theatre kids from all over kansas city-

the girls are once again at ages i'd love to bottle up-
