as is true with each month, this one is going by way too fast! we have had so much fun with our october festivities! lucy had thursday & friday off from school, and it was such a treat for me to have my girls together for consecutive weekdays! we completely took advantage & did all the fun things- school trunk or treat, all-school skate party [seriously lucy's all-time favorite activity!], the pumpkin patch, and we topped it with a busy saturday- a tinitainer's performance, birthday party & seeing peter pan at a local high school. eloise had seen an advertisement for the show & asked all week to go. she was entranced... and also adamant about figuring out how the actors were flying. we have a low-key sunday ahead of us- church, prepping for halloweek! & carving our jack o'lantern :)
but first, lucy's class pumpkin patch field trip! lucy & avery have become quite the pair.
too much fun at the school trunk or treat! this was the first year that i completely handed over costume-control ;) they each chose something 'traditional halloween' & in their minds, spooky! :)
skate party! lucy was so excited on the ride over, she told me that her legs wouldn't stop shaking! such a blast & she can really skate without the walker now!

lucy came home from this classmate's birthday party & immediately drew caricatures of her sisters :)
such excited audience members! eloise only got her leg stuck in the gap of the springy theatre chair once, requiring other audience members to rush over & help...
with their dancing teacher, ms ann, who choreographed the show!
heading to make another cup of coffee & enjoy this family day- my favorite :)
