70 years of meme!!

 we celebrated meme's 70th birthday with glam and fam!

it was really special to celebrate 70 years while vividly remembering my mom's 40th, 50th and 60th birthdays. formal photos coming soon :)

back at it... now, with a TEEN!

 an epic 13th birthday celebration for LJ! 

13!!! a teenager! 

still 10 days until the actual day, but we partied fashionably early.

the girls walked a mile to their classmate's house and "broke in", surprising him while he was playing video games ...then called me for a ride home ;) they thought it was the sweetest thing ever that he got them all water from their walk, and as his mom said, "ladies! raise those standards!!!"

our basement is a complete construction zone, so the girls got an old school living room sleepover where they weren't allowed any phone or communication devices, and spent hours [literally... hours into the wee morning light] putting on productions for each other. lucy truly has the most incredible group of friends. middle school can be hard, but this group of girls and the way they cheer for each other and hold each other up makes life so much better while in the throws of growing up. it's been such a joy seeing these gals grow up together since kindergarten [even some preschool friends!], so seeing them become compassionate, strong, FUN teens is a bit emotional :)

annie was lucy's emotional support when she got her birthday doubles!

and middle school tailgate friday night lights include eloise this year, too!

during lucy's birthday, jon stayed far far away, babysitting cousins with bets and bringing eloise to her saturday night social events...

betsy's living her absolute best life as molly in the 7th grade production of annie. given hanging on lucy's friends is one of her favorite hobbies, she fits right in :)
