it's a nice, simple week around here! eloise had a terrible night's sleep the other night followed by jon having a super early morning flight- poor girl & daddy! we were all back on track last night- i was in bed at 830, which is a huge up-side of jon's travel nights :) eloise slept a deep 12 hours & betsy only woke up for a quick feed + all 3 are napping this afternoon after a fun morning. it's amazing how much sleep dictates everything in my world these days. if i'm rested, i can conquer anything!

i got easter put away yesterday, but on monday, we were still in egg & bunny mode- [also, lucy got pretend makeup from the easter bunny & she's so obsessed. it's seriously the funniest/sweetest thing ever! she does her makeup alongside me each morning, asks what each of the brushes is for & she's going to die when it's her dance recital & she gets to wear real makeup for a day:)]

i managed to go almost 9 whole weeks without a grocery store trip with all 3. jon's awesome about picking up groceries on his way home from work! but alas, monday was the day... thankfully there was room left in the cart for groceries... :)

park trip #2 of the week yesterday. we can't get enough of this warm weather!

9 weeks today of my sweet bea!

best friends forever-

& my lunch dates today- nordstrom cafe [our favorite!] followed by a mall trip. i got the girls some super cute spring/summer dresses + they're now crashed out hard! win/win for us all :)

we're all set for april fool's day on friday! i'm telling the girls i have a new kind of lollipop for them to try... & that they can have as MANY of them as they'd like :) 

jon's parents are having the big girls over for a playdate on friday- i'm really looking forward to a little coffee shop date with beatrice! & friday night, jon's taking me & bea out for date night :) 

...AND as if i don't have enough "people" to care for between my husband, 3 children & dog... caterpillars arrived today for the second year of our caterpillar --> butterflies fun- the big girls are great ages for this springtime unit! grateful, as always, to get to do these sweet activities with my kids [in between the laundry & dishes!] nothing better than being a "stay-at-home" mama :)

easter 2016!

an epic easter weekend it's been! i feel deeply grateful that these 3 little chicks are mine. real life has kicked in now that betsy is 8 weeks old... & it's just sweeter than ever. there are days that it's definitely challenging & draining to have 3 at these ages, although most days i feel on top of the world!- and there is honestly nothing in this entire world that i'd rather be doing during these years of my life. [+ as a bonus, jon & i keep saying how awesome it's going to be 20 years down the road for these 3 sisters.] 1 2 3, in my heart they'll always be :) happy first easter, miss beatrice!

saturday night, jon & i did a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt for the girls before bedtime. it was SO much fun! [but stuffing the eggs was not... it took me an embarrassing amount of time to get the girls' bubble bath glow sticks squeezed into these eggs. next year, i'm using mini glow sticks, jumbo eggs & a bottle of wine!]
