seven!

on august 1, we celebrate 7 years of marriage- my favorite thing in life!

we spent yesterday afternoon celebrating in the best way. coffee downtown, wine, a sleeping baby along for the ride. i am grateful every single day for this life we've created, and am so excited to sit back & watch our three girls grow!

little sister sally from dick & jane- eloise's textbook lookalike, am i right? my mom sent me this picture after my previous post about the 3 baby dolls :) 

i've started rotating toys, moving up a few from the basement for a few days, then putting them back & bringing up some new ones. these aren't new toys- many of them were given to lucy as a baby, but to the girls, they are more exciting than ever. this jack-in-the-box entertained eloise for 30 minutes, 3 different times on friday- that's an hour & a half! a mom can get a lot accomplished in that insane amount of time :)

lucy got to go on a super special date with meme friday night to see mary poppins at theatre in the park, followed by a sleepover. she was over the moon!

eloise was not :)

+ she got to meet the cast after the show! [last night as she was going to sleep, she sobbed into her pillow that "she missed mary poppins!"

saturday morning at meme's-

they spent their time making brooms for the fairies in meme's garden :)

while my sidekick joined me for the 6734 foils i had to get done. the things we women go through.

the other night at dinner, jon asked lucy what she wants to be when she grows up. she said she plans to be a cowgirl, and that daddy will be her cowboy. she said eloise & i will be cowgirls, too, and that betsy will be the "cow baby" :) 1 month until preschool starts!
