we hit the pool three days this week, visited the library, ice cream shop, rec center, celebrated charlie's 8th birthday with 8 candles on a hamburger patty he finished in about 2 seconds & had loads of time for barbies [lucy & eloise spend significant amounts of their waking hours dressing & redressing their barbies these days!] & i totally feel like the "we can do it" girl having gotten to the point in our parenting journey where i actually look forward to the pool with our girls, rather than dreading the stress of keeping 3 small children alive! ;) 

so excited for the holiday week ahead! we <3 summer.
