wow! i can hardly comprehend that we're entering into the second week of june already! we've had a packed few weeks, and beginning now, life should start slowing down into an easy, slower summer pace. 

lucy had her end of year tiny team banquet with the sweetest group of kids & moms. we have loved being a part of this team & it's become one of lucy's very favorite activities with some of her very favorite people :)

she turned right around to golf camp- loving it, asking when she gets to go back & making her daddy one super proud papa :)

this past week, we have been so fortunate to get to make lifelong memories with family. auntie amy & her boys flew into kansas city saturday night & we've been able to spend every day together since, while meme continues to pack & prep for her big move out of our childhood home & into a smaller townhome that's the perfect little spot for her. we've packed our days with summer fun, laughs & tears- the zoo, science city, selling beads in meme's neighborhood for fifty cents each [the kids had 5 customers!], staying up to catch fireflies, meals together, a sleepover, s'mores & my favorite- enjoying meme's porch, the one i grew up on, one last time as a family.
