it's the 5th of july! this always feels like the turning point of summer to me. truly soaking in the next month before grade school begins. we plan to do all the summer things- beach vacay included!
we had the best ever, all american july 4. best friends, beverages & booms! we did our traditional lenexa parade with meme, then the kids ran around like crazy all night while the brewers & us sat & said a hallelujah to finally be at this point- the point where we don't have babies climbing all over us in the july heat ;)
last weekend after begging for a sleepover for several days, we caved- & it ended up being the sweetest thing ever minus the 6am wakeup ;)
meme & i took the big girls to see cinderella at starlight. this was lucy's 4th year & eloise's 2nd- can't wait to add bea to our tradition next summer!
