sister snapshot

with eloise recently turning 2 & all of my girls growing & changing so rapidly, i'm due for another sister snapshot!

sweet lucille. i cannot believe she's nearing age FOUR & the beginning of 2 years of preschool. she is honestly getting sweeter by the day, if that were even possible. she loves bringing joy to people & taking care of her little sisters. my little mommy. she is always the first to proactively get eloise a cup of water, or make sure betsy is content while playing on her floor mat. she's full of sweet sayings like, "i just love rainbows!" & her imagination runs wild. she loves to make up songs & pretend to read + write. she will sit & concentrate on an activity for long periods of time, whether it's putting together a puzzle or painting a picture for someone she loves. when she sees a toy or dress that she'd like, she says she'll ask for it for her next birthday or christmas :) she's polite as a peach & honestly has the sweetest tooth of anyone i've ever known- she'd happily live on chocolate cake & rainbow sherbet for days. she loves having fun activities to look forward to & will talk about exciting things coming up for weeks before they're here- anticipation is everything to her :) she asks for another baby sister & can't wait to grow up big so she can drink coffee & borrow mommy's dresses :)

eloise amy. sun shines out of this girl. she is fancy & free. she's bright & she likes to be in charge ;) she's constantly walking a line of wanting to be just like lucy, and wanting to boss lucy around :) to her, everything & everyone is "suuuper cuuute!" & her vocabulary + concepts are just exploding. she loves kissing on betsy, then turning around & having us hold her like a baby. she's a lover and is our cuddliest by far :) she has big emotions & is a total sensory person- to her, the world is one big sensory opportunity- she takes the time [ohhhh, the time] to smell, taste, hear & feel the world around her. she is opinionated & dives head-first into life. she is mischievous, silly & creative. she would love a day to do nothing but explore nature, pick up bugs, smell flowers ["flow-ow-ows"], taste grass, feel the wind, drink the rain. she's so proud to wake up with dry panties in the mornings & get her "princess chewy" [gummy vitamin] now that she's 2 :) she is a true individual with surprising & non-conforming favorites [the color orange, pickles, mustard & using garden tools as magic wands:)]

sweet bea. joy joy joy. she'll look deep into your eyes, and give you the most heartfelt smile. she's content to just be- lay on the floor, check out the action. she's recently started spending the large majority of her floor-time rolled over onto her tummy, trying to lunge herself forward into a crawl. she looks the most like baby lucy, and reminds me of lucy, who motored early. she thinks her sisters & daddy are hilarious, and gives them her biggest giggles. she's gotten more opinionated as she's woken up from her angelic sleepy baby stage, and likes to be on the GO when in her carseat. she's hit a major growth spurt, nursing somedays what feels like every few minutes. she's packing on the pounds [hard to believe she was ever in the 1st percentile!] & allowing me to eat my weight in food without gaining any :) i've been nursing for nearly 4 years now & will have to totally re-train myself with how to eat when my nursing-baby days are behind me! she's found her voice & has a lot to [loudly] say. she smiles with her whole body & kicks her chunky legs like there's no tomorrow when she sees me walk over to pick her up :) we have matching strawberry birthmarks, and she & her daddy have matching happy dispositions :)

i am so proud & so very blessed to be the mommy of these 3 precious slices of heaven :)
