we're on the one month countdown to school, the one week countdown to our florida beach vacation and the covid numbers are at the highest we've seen in months due to the delta variant that's swiftly making it's way throughout the world. jon and i, despite being vaccinated, are back to masking in public, and we're all back to being "on guard" again. we're praying for safe, effective vaccinations for children under the age of 12, and in the meantime can hardly believe that 71 weeks later, we're still living in the midst of this global health pandemic.
despite the constant unsettling news, we're continuing on with back to school dates (fingers crossed tight), and as much pool time as possible in-between dancing classes and summer life.
