a festive and fun holiday with a mix of small town americana, ice cream downtown, the lake, and s'mores and sparklers with meme. we were so happy to get to celebrate one of our favorite holidays in our new home! the weather was absolutely perfect, and not a day goes by that i take for granted living in america. we are so fortunate for our freedoms, and we look forward to the change where everyone feels seen and safe, fully loving who they love and embracing their own cultural history while respecting and appreciating their neighbors'.

the week leading up to the 4th is always exciting! a couple of playdates sprinkled in with charlie's 11th birthday, swimming, the library in-between rain showers, and 'too much screen time'. the girls are 1000% living their best summertime lives-
lucy's show opens on friday, and we're looking forward to a week of 'staycation'- skipping dancing classes for a few lazy pool days before late night tech rehearsals. we're all counting down to cheering on the cutest who's in whoville!
