the final weekend of seussical was everything lucy's stage dreams are made of. she had the time of her life, and is already asking about the next show she can audition for. the stage bug bit hard with this one! it was a true team effort with jon laying down the tarp mid-day, me getting lucy (and sisters!) ready each night, family dinners on the fly and late nights tag-teaming getting everyone to the car. jon and lucy are currently at the theatre striking the set, and i have no idea how my mom did this solo when i was growing up. grateful for our people and these opportunities for fun times, life lessons and lasting memories!!
we somehow still woke up each day and fit in summer fun. today is, for sure, a catch up one :)
school starts one month from tomorrow, and we're officially on beach countdown! i see lots of pool days and relaxed schedules over the next 4 weeks!
