woah! warning: loaded post ahead. i had no idea that i took so many photos this week until i came to upload them. i think that after about 15 days of gray, rainy & cloudy weather [which i generally really enjoy & look forward to!], we were itching to get out of the house & explore the city! 

we hadn't been to union station since december, which is unheard of for us! so we headed downtown to science city on tuesday with some friends from our mama/kid exercise group :)

lucy has blossomed into such an artist. have i posted about this before? her "go-to" when we're home is grabbing a sheet of paper & crayons- i am LOVING age 4!!

thursday we spent the morning at the farmstead. we're so excited to have it open for the season! we try & get there weekly- there's always something new to explore. this week, the girls could have fed the mama goats for hours & hours :)

betsy girl has been teething like none other. i am so over it! so ready for her to feel good on a consistent basis. i remember eloise going through this for months & it's just a little blip in my mind now, so i do look forward to the day i can say the same about bea. generally, getting out of the house tends to get her mind off of her mouth & on to something else for a little while :)

lucy, of course, requested lucy the pony :) eloise will finally get to ride when she turns 3 next month!

& today was our big neighborhood easter egg hunt! jon's out of town until next week for work & a quick bachelor party in nashville, so meme joined us for the fun. the girls really are at the prime time for activities like this & i want to soak it all up & never ever forget-

meme had us over for dinner & egg dyeing afterwards.

i want to bottle up her completely carefree, confident demeanor.
