happy mid-week!

we're chugging along over here :) lucy had firefighter day at preschool today & i got to stay for the fun, as it was her "special day" to bring snacks & have a parent hang out with her in her classroom.

last week, GMom brought the big girls to check out a new fire station in town & they had an absolute blast! so lucy was well-prepared for today's lesson :)

eloise told me she pretended to be scared & that she had a boo-boo on the stretcher ;) she remembers her ambulance stint last may!

we had an earth day playdate at the jansen farm with all of our exercise class friends. the kids got to check out tarah's new chicken coop, take golf cart rides, bounce in the jump house & run around their amazing acreage-

eloise has been obsessed with chickens since the children's farmstead last summer, so you can imagine her squeals with these baby chicks :)

we've had some of those perfectly temperatured days this week- windows open, warm breeze...

we're back to cold & rainy today, but our ladybug land arrived & is providing plenty of entertainment! we'll set the ladybugs free once they're grown. probably right about mother's day :)
