it's been a LOVEly week around here! we are all so excited for valentine's day- the girls have been working hard on making valentines, and i have been hiding love notes for everyone around the house each day. this weekend, we're planning on baking cupcakes [that lucy chose!] for her class valentine's day party. i always forget just how much i love this holiday!

lucy & i escaped for our own little starbucks + target run last weekend. she is just the best age- truly my little girlfriend!

spending their valentine's money from great gramma helen [$5 each!]- such a sweet time!

& the current state of the dress-up closet- ms missy [lucy's dance teacher, who had been my dance teacher growing up] gifted the girls an excessive amount of costumes her grandchildren have outgrown. this seriously feels sinful... and the girls are beside themselves!

lucy has a princess meet & greet tomorrow morning that i'm excited to take her to. she gets to paint pottery, meet a princess & listen to fairytales :)
