it's been quite awhile since i last did one of these! the girls have been changing leaps & bounds over the past few weeks, and now that the rush of the holidays is behind us & betsy girl is coming up on the big #1, it feels like a good time to do a current briefing of this sweet sister trio :)
lucille jane- sweet as pie, and such a big girl now. lucy has such a big imagination & spends a good majority of her time at home "decorating for parties", playing mommy to her baby sisters, and pretending like she's performing for a big audience. she loves schoolwork & practicing her letters, drawing her family & coloring inside the lines. she loves books & her teachers, and says she wants to be a doctor, chef & dance teacher when she grows up. she remembers things from so long ago & she's always up for a cuddle. she still has quite the sweet tooth & marshmallows may be her favorite thing in the world, although when i ask her what she loves best, she names her mommy, daddy, sisters & puppy :)
eloise amy- my little introvert. eloise marches to the beat of her own drum, and has her own ideas. she is a thinker & processor, and spends a lot of time trying to figure out how things work. she is confident & sure of herself, and has the sweetest maternal instincts towards her dolly & betsy. she, too, has a large imagination, and most days, she chooses a character that she insists we refer to her as for the entirety of the day. she is charasmatic & has big reactions. she loves stickers, coloring, art projects, snuggles, reading & exploring the world around her. 2.5 was big for her- her impulsiveness has lessened, and she truly enjoys ballet class & following the directions of her teacher [side note: her teacher is pregnant & i'll be covering her maternity leave! i'm excited to have a few classes per week of tiny 2 year old ballerinas!] she can be sugary sweet, especially when she isn't feeling well, and is often quick to tell me, "i wuv you so much, mommy!"
beatrice claire- betsy girl, our new little walker, is a social butterfly! she loves being a part of the action- right in the middle of it to be exact :) she is truly a joyful person- she feels good & is excited about life! she spends her days chasing after her sisters, and is always up for an adventure. she says "baby" "bye bye" "mama" "dada" "meme" & "up" and could eat cucumbers & green beans all day long. she loves cuddling up & reading books, and would be content to sit & read on our laps for hours. she loves animals & watching charlie get excited about food or the doorbell is so funny to her. she loves tickles, bath time [she'd be thrilled to spend the whole day in the tub!] & music- she dances whenever music is on :) she looks so much like lucy as a baby, and her big brown eyes rank as one of my all-time favorite views.
& because it's the sweetest thing ever, our very own sugar plum fairy-
love my girls & love this current stage we've entered into!
