saturday, 70 degrees, windows are open & the warm breeze is blowing in + all 3 girls are napping.

beatrice is one month new today! she happily slept through lucy's dance watch week this morning, and as long as her tummy is full & she's been burped, she's so content to just be. noise doesn't phase her, which is quite convenient given the amount of noise her sister's make just about every waking moment. she smiles at us, coos, is sleeping nice stretches in her crib, loves to be worn in the moby or ergo carriers, feels cozy in the carseat & sleeps through every car ride. she is the ideal "3rd child" as they say, and is certainly the least amount of "work" of all 3 :)

lucy was, hands down, THE best helper at betsy's 1 month appointment yesterday! i was so proud of how quietly she sat while i talked to the doctor [whom she immediately informed she, too, wants to be a doctor when she grows up:)]. betsy jumped from the 1% to the 11% on the growth charts & is meeting her newborn milestones beautifully. i couldn't wish for more. my heart is grateful & full.

taken before she busted her lip & bled all over herself & me, which occurred after she turned a pile of small landscape rocks into her own personal sandbox & dug for a good 20 minutes- she would have been thrilled to keep going if naptime hadn't called :)
