a few more photos from our weekend with my sister's family-
& my peaceful baby bea, who continues to be a wonderful little sleeper! she's napping 1-2 times/day in her crib for anywhere from 1-3 hours [on top of sleeping while i wear her, in our arms, in the swing, in the carseat, etc.] sleepy baby phase is so loved & appreciated around here! at night, she'll do a mix of 2-4 hour stretches & will often sleep in in the mornings, which has made it nice to get the big girls ready first thing. this is such a different experience than with lucy & eloise, who we had sleeping with us for months. i knew with our third how important it is we develop good sleep habits right from the start to avoid heartache & hard crib transitions down the road & it helps that betsy just feels good & is a content, sweet little soul. i'm completely in love :) [& literally feel sick to my stomach knowing she isn't going to stay this small forever. if there has ever been a point in my life where i wanted to freeze time, it's now.]
we've had an interesting week with jon out of town & eloise having a terrible stomach virus. thankful to have everyone back to normal the past couple of days & jon back home. i survived bedtime solo with all 3, which may or may not have included nursing 1, while simultaneously bathing, brushing & flossing the others. 'tis the season :)
lucy started a new gymnastics session this morning & we've switched from classes at the rec center to an actual gym & cheer place. eloise, as always, kept the lobby entertained :)
& it's 70 degrees in february & we are LOVING it! we took a post-lunch walk today- i pushed 2, wore 1 & burned at least 1000 calories ;)
here's to the end of winter!
xoxo,
-ivy
