our week in pictures :)

last monday was beautiful! it was a warm & windy fall day. the last we'll see for awhile, it seems. 

lucy prefers [errr... make that, insists] everyone wear a tiara when she hosts a tea party :)

jon took a couple of much needed vacation days. it was so fabulous to have his help getting some dreaded to-do's tackled- i.e. the dentist & license renewal :) such a glamorous life we lead!

lucy geared herself up for the snow headed our way- which ended up, sadly, being what can't even be described as a "dusting". i LOVE a good snow day! so as lucy says "maybe next time!"

meme & lucy's storytime session last night- pre- jon's homemade french onion soup & fried chicken. love being married to such a fabulous cook!

& we ended dinner with THIS! jon & i seriously wait for this day all year long. fresh holiday blend from the roasterie cafe. best cup of coffee in the world!

for my birthday, jon gave my closet a makeover. happy is the wife who has a pretty closet :) he picked out everything, surprised me with the final product & i could not be more impressed! [side note: for christmas, my mom is getting me matching hangars- because that's what i've asked for :) my obsessive nature is so at peace!]

lucy dressed as a piggy from the three little pigs at ballet class this morning. she was ecstatic to wake up on dance day this morning! i'm so proud of all the progress she's making! she learned to wait for directions, take turns, follow her teacher's instructions- such fun! i truly cherish this time with her each week.

daddy & daughter manicure session this afternoon. such a great girl dad jon is!

we have family christmas card/eloise's 6 month photos tomorrow afternoon at our house, so guess what this means!? our tree goes up TONIGHT! we had originally planned for an outdoor session for our photos [always do], but it's way too chilly for that to work. can't say i'm upset about it given an extra week with the tree :)
