i am counting my blessings today.
i'm so so thankful for my beautiful husband, daughters and home. they're everything i have prayed for my whole entire life & my cup runs over with gratitude.
i still can't believe i get to be mom to these 3 precious baby girls.

it was a busy week & a way too busy weekend that i had quite a bit of anxiety surrounding, but we got through it, had fun & are ready for the week ahead! i'm at a point in my life where i value time at home more than ever before, and i'm learning how to prioritize it along with also making sure the girls are involved in valuable activities & commitments. this motherhood journey is not for the faint of heart ;)
the girls had the best time decorating our tree- so much so, that for the first time ever, i have zero desire to rearrange the completely crazy ornament placements :)
eloise performed in her first school christmas program, and was so proud!
i love my little dolly-
i ran the first of two nutcracker tea party camps at the dancing school- a sweet little soiree for budding ballerinas-
& today, lucy had her first performance with her tiny team. they got to perform at union station, which is, of course, such an amazing venue. it was darling! so proud of how hard a worker this little girl is.
we went to dinner & spent time at union station afterwards- my favorite place in kansas city at christmastime-
& when we saw home alone was playing on the big screen at union station this evening, there was no way we were passing it up!
we had the best time- lucy was glued to the screen the entire movie, and eloise had to wipe away her tears when the family reunites in the end <3
i so love these girls & their grounded, supportive daddy, who always helps us keep the focus on what's important in life... and what's not.
& speaking of- next up: jon's taking lucy to chicago at the end of the week! for each girl's 5th, 10th & 16th birthdays, he's taking them on a daddy/daughter trip. this marks the 1st! lucy is beside herself, and requested a fancy spaghetti dinner in her best party dress :) :) :)
& next sunday is our annual day at the ballet with meme to see the nutcracker downtown. we're so excited for eloise to join us this year!
