this sweet duo had the sweetest of times.
jon took the very best care of lucy, and created the most special memories for her. she got to ride a plane, train & bus, explore downtown chicago, the aquarium, ice skate in millennium park during a snowfall, visit both daddy's & mommy's alma maters, and shop shop shop! daddy took her shoe shopping at nordstrom, they hit the disney store & lucy picked out a new pair of earrings, christmas shopping for her sisters, and they dressed up in their christmas best for a fancy city dinner.
we are all going to sleep with the fullest of hearts tonight.
