well it's definitely been the most random couple of weeks around here. in short, lucy's giant stanley cup fell on my face from a high pantry shelf causing a gnarly 2 week black eye followed by a retina detachment requiring emergency surgery and a gas bubble placed in my eye that is yet to dissolve, meaning i'm living life seeing through one eye. while it could always always be worse, i sure will be thrilled to see again! we take so much for granted until it's gone.
