'tis the season for cookies! we had our annual bake day with meme on black friday, and lucy's friend joined this year! after we baked, betsy enthusiastically ran up and down the street in the freezing cold wrapped in her christmas robe to deliver goodies to neighbors- primarily older friends who adore and dote on my girls!

the overbaughs picked us up in style saturday night, and we drove through kansas city with the biggest snowflakes falling. we called it a "movie snow", and the littles screamed out the window "we're taylor swift's nieces!!!" for literal hours...

the morning after-

i got to chaperone lucy's chior field trip to crown center for ice skating and caroling. really, there were about 3 parents to each child so it was just a fun festive day with friends!
