summer set and another school year has begun! we spent the last week of summer with friends, in the water, meeting the teachers, and lucy + dad completed her long awaited 10 year old birthday bedroom makeover they've been planning since june!
Family Goals for this academic year:
Pick the classmate first, who is always picked last.
Only kind words about students or teachers (this includes those brave substitutes!) Except to me. Always give me the down-low 
Remember: whatever you write down (or type up!) should only be words you’re ok with the whole world seeing. You never know where these words might end up.
Celebrate and love peers for their differences and unique interests and situations. You do you.

meme brought lucy and me to the new theatre restaurant to see lucy's friend and matilda castmate, liam. i hadn't been to NDT for 20 years probably, and it was such a fun time!
back to the school year grind... backpacks, lunches, papers, constant emails, oh my.
