wednesday marked the first day the girls have gone to school without a mask in nearly 2 years! while numbers were pretty frightening at the beginning of the new year, we feel as good as we can about our school now going mask optional. lucy went into the day slightly apprehensive, but ended it saying she felt "free" - absolute music to my heart. navigating a pandemic with 3 school-aged children has been the ultimate roller-coaster, but maybe just maybe we're over the steepest drop.
