school's out for summer, and this mama could not be more ready! the girls had an absolutely awesome, rewarding, in-person school year, and along with that, the mental weight of the pandemic and all the changes our family has had this year- our move, jon's role change- has me completely exhausted and ready for an easy, fun-filled, laid-back summer! a little camp, a little dance and theatre, a lot of travel, enjoying our house and swim-filled days is what our next 2.5 months looks like-
we leave tomorrow for the blue ridge mountains and great gramma helen, where time stops and there's always an ice cold dr. pepper ready.
