slowly but surely getting back in the swing of all the school year things! lots of wonderful, quality time with bea- she still loves lipstick [chapstick] more than anything, and is nearly always found with at least 2 tubes in hand. she dresses herself in a tutu, snow boots & winter hat each morning, and for the love of God, won't sleep past 6:15am. she was so proud to attend "meet the teacher" at preschool this week! she's grown up so much faster than the older girls, given what's been modeled for her her whole life, and she is so tickled that she'll be in ms shanan's class for 2 mornings each week, where both lucy & eloise attended as 3 year olds. she's ready & anxious to get that party started! 

eloise had her first full week of kindergarten & comes home laughing and sharing about her school day each afternoon. i love seeing her eyes light up when she first spots me at school pickup <3 we're fortunate to have an intuitive and thorough kindergarten teacher [also was lucy's teacher!], who is starting her on an individualized reading program, as she's currently reading at a second grade level [!!] eloise had her first ever tinitainer rehearsal, and counted down the days leading to it. it's so fun and special that she and lucy get to share this. 

lucy is loving 1st grade, her teacher, art class, spelling tests & her sweet friendships. she takes school very seriously, and truly enjoys learning. her soccer practices began this week, but she sadly had to miss today's game, as well as school yesterday, with a high fever i'm certain is in thanks to all the lovely back-to-school germs floating around. she began rehearsals for disney 2020 this past week- an honor to receive an invitation to rehearse over the next few months, and perform at disneyworld next spring with a group of dancers from the studio. 

i find myself taxiing around to school, these various activities, and just living that suburban mom life... on repeat... day. after. day ;)
