it feels like spring around here & we are all better for it! sunshine and open windows are the very best medicine.

our latest reading endeavor! #101 inspired the big girls to start their own stamp collections- hilarious because eloise is not only adding envelope stamps, but also ink stamps from her art kit ;)

one of the girls favorite things to do is eat at mcdonald's and play in the playplace- something i swore off for years! in lowering my standards and simplifying my expectations, we're all enjoying the simple pleasures in life [like free kid cones] more.

friday night, we learned that aunt alli is expectating a baby GIRL! the girls are so so so excited for their very first girl cousin, and had the best time biting into their pink surprise cupcakes!! :)

& a sunday filled with homemade cookies & barbecue + lucy & eloise's first ever soccer practice! they are both eagerly counting down to this afternoon! we are so fortunate they are just one grade apart for many reasons, including dance troops & sports teams with eloise entering into kindergarten! they are on the same soccer & softball teams this spring, and will be in the same performance troop next year as a 1st grader and kindergartener. when we had 2 under 2 [& then 3 in 3 years for that matter], these days seemed so far away. so happy to be here!
