wowie! we've had a packed few days! 

we're really missing our lucy-girl around here during the week, but i will say that the school days make her time at home that much sweeter!

saturday shenanigans-

lucy has asked to have a lemonade stand all summer long. like at least 50 times. saturday was finally the day! we baked a batch of cookies, mixed up some pink lemonade & raised some cash for the animal shelter we found our sweet charlie at. it was so much fun- the girls were so proud & it is a memory we'll all hold onto.

nightstand finds- my sweet, sweet artist. always drawing. 

sunday was for school prep! we sat lucy down & taught her how to navigate the lunchbox. monday marked her first full-day of school. ever. she told me she was scared to be let out at the curb of the school, but i knew after a couple days of walking her into her classroom, it was time. 

i honestly don't think i'll ever forget seeing her hop out of the car with her little backpack, scared but brave. she knocked on the car window to smile & wave, then turned into the crowd to navigate her way up those front school steps. my heart was breaking & so proud all at once. 

& then eloise & i both just lost it. big, big sobs. we were quite the sight!

meanwhile, beatrice is 1000% AGE TWO!

straight home from school to immediately play... school!

we are blown away by our school community, and are so very grateful to be raising our girls here.
