we've battled viruses ping-ponged between the girls, a new eyeglass prescription for eloise & too much work travel for daddy [he's traveling much less in his new role at work, so we've been spoiled into thinking that any travel is too much!], but we've successfully survived winter thus far! ;)

last night was aunt alli & merrit's engagement party! lucy was so sad to miss with a stubborn virus, but all 3 are so excited to be their flower girls! meme kept lucy entertained with cookie baking & sprite ;) it was such a nice celebration of the couple & aunt alli looked beautiful <3

glasses are due in this week- fingers crossed so hard that they help eloise with the migraine-gene she inherited from jon. we're excited to give her her look-alike dolly as soon as they come in!

 

 there's a snowstorm predicted for this week, jon has a work trip & our plan is, as always these days, to spend our mornings at school, the library, or the rec center [barre classes are my sanity!], evenings at dance, and if school closings happen, the girls are always game for movies, tea parties, crafting valentines, and making up crazy scenarios to act out while i sit & drink too much coffee for anyone's good ;)
