one of my favorite parts of fall, particularly october, is all of the fun options of family outings- the pumpkin patch, fall festivals, the apple orchard, the farmstead decorated for halloween. this october, we're squeezing in fun and, as always, balancing downtime because between school, dance schedules, and life with 3 small children in general, every day is inevitably filled to the brim ;)

pinkalicious the musical at the lawrence arts center! the big girls have been obsessed with this book for years, and over the summer, began listening to the soundtrack. it was so awesome to see them sing along & know the show inside & out while it unfolded before their eyes!

night of the living farm at the children's farmstead was one of the most fun fall festivals we've been to! the weather was gorgeous & there were tons of festive activity options for all age ranges of kids- princess dancing, a haunted hayride, s'more roast, halloween slime stand. moms just needed wine to make it a perfect night ;) excited to bring betsy & kelsey both next year! [one was sick, one was ready for bed ;)]

we bowled with friends this morning- baby reed & beatrice desperately wanted in on the big kid action ;)

we're soaking in this final week before halloween! can't wait to dress our little trio in their "official" costumes!! this school year is already passing by way too fast for this mama's heart!
