we had a really nice, relaxing weekend without much on the schedule. these are my favorite because we can really focus on our family & enjoy our time together. one of my favorite things about summer is weekends like this- time spent together doing simple, fun things like grilling, swimming, the ice cream truck & drawing on the driveway with chalk. i'm so excited about the coming warm months!

lucy attended her dance school's mad hatter tea party on saturday afternoon- it was a sweet little opportunity for her to get to spend time with older dancers, meet the characters from the school's ballet production of "alice in wonderland" & her favorite, eat sweets!

on sunday, she drew her first series of family portraits :) charlie is flying up in the top left corner of photo #2!

jon finished the next phase of our raised gardens. he's so impressed me with how he's involved the big girls on this project. next up: planting!
