feels like fall...

transitioning back into the swing of school... for all four of us girls! i was able to map out my path to earning my master's in human lactation and sitting for the international board certification exam. my goal is to finish classes and clinicals in may 2024, and open my own practice the following fall- milky way lactation support. jon and i make a great team with his business and real estate background. i have a purpose and a path. the years as a full-time mom have been priceless and unmatched, and i'm grateful to have those years and experiences propelling me forward into this new chapter.

we spent a super fun morning getting lucy updated headshots! she's officially stopped all sports [as much as she does love volleyball...] and is 100% wanting to focus on all things "performing arts"- musical theatre, dance, voice, and just starting to dip her toe into her interest in the print/on-camera world. it's very fun seeing her discover what sparks joy in her life!

the dance school hosted a fun beginning of the season gathering for musical theatre performance troupes... jon and eloise had their own date with mexican and ice cream :)

and obvs the occasion called for a sleepover during the 12 hour period between the picnic and minitainer rehearsal at 8:15 saturday morning...

ready for the change of seasons and all this fall will bring. i start classes tomorrow towards my human lactations master's, and after labor day, dance and tumbling classes [tumbling for betsy!], art and trampoline classes [eloise!], and american heritage girls [betsy!] which is essentially catholic girl scouts who sell candles instead of cookies, camp, and at the initial meeting, got to hide in a tent and use flashlights to point to and identify hanging pictures of saints ;)

back-to-school whirlwind! meaning... we've had two half-days and lots of hours to still fill at home. 

friends, sleepovers and soaking up every last drop of summer. 

first day of fourth grade and first voice lesson! lucy was on cloud 9. she's been asking to take voice for months, and with stopping all sports and dedicating all her activity energy to dance and theatre, we felt like it was a great next step for her. bonus: her lessons are the same time that i teach tiny 2's and one studio away from each other. a scheduling gift!

chopping up an extra jumper to dress barbie for school-

friday night for 4 while lucy went to her first escape room + a fun sleepover whereeeee she stayed up until 3am! a right of passage :) 

and saturday spoils for the baby while eloise had her first ever sleepover with her bestie since birth and lucy had a minitainer pool party... super fun!
