a bit of a crazy week adjusting to daylight savings. 430pm sunsets aren't my favorite unless we're cozied up at home in flannel jammies with wine and festive movies.
eighty-six weeks into the pandemic that has taken away so much and so many, we had the absolute honor of bringing our daughters to get their first vaccination against the coronavirus. they were brave and did as dolly would do. hooray for science!

we've had a full week of halloween festivities with somehow 3 more days to go... school trunk or treat, costume week at dance, halloween performances, and today are their school parties. tomorrow is their dance school's fall fest where they perform and attend yet another trunk or treat, and sunday they're so excited to carve their pumpkins and trick-or-treat in our neighborhood for the first time! come monday, they may have turned into chocolate bars. i'm totally remembering back to the 1990's where halloween consisted of one night a year. what is this new world?
