bea discovered lucy's beloved elsa costume from years ago & wore it the majority of this week. the 3 year old princess stage is definitely one of the sweetest & after the blessing of consecutive years of it, i will surely miss having a costume-wearing insistent child once betsy is through this stage-

dance dance dance- most nights of our lives, someone has something between tap, jazz, ballet, tinitainers, clara's dream rehearsal, my tiny two's class ... it's a great place to have secured as a second home ;)

we had the best best friday with a half-day for the big girls! so they chose their fave burger place for lunch, claire's for lipgloss & nail polish, the carousel, american girl store & nestle for cookies before hair trims & dinner out with daddy! t g i f!

this morning brought a goal + 2 assists for lucy in her soccer game, ballet rehearsal & tomorrow is the big girls' first tintainer show of the season [+ eloise's first ever!] at the zoo! 'tis the extra busy season of our lives- activities, homework, but still little enough to want to play barbies & put on sister shows any possible chance.

fall has finally arrived in kansas city! even a few days ago, it was still 90 some degrees out & we were sweating in our plaid and boots, but here we are... a week into october & everything we love about the season is here :)

a day in weston with mom-

lucy had a gmom & gdad date to celebrate her birthday!

eloise discovered moon pies through a book she read at school, and uncle brett pulled the funcle card, sending her a special delivery!

eloise's lambie is never far from her reach these days, including hanging in her backpack each school day-

7 year checkup! lucy is 86% for height on the 7 year charts! tall, kind, hardworking and beautiful from the inside out-

such a treat to join bea on her preschool pumpkin patch field trip... of course, we celebrated with pumpkin pancakes for lunch afterwards :)

we're living for cool park mornings after we drop off the big girls, before the preschool day begins-

friday was a no school day & we were ready to play! we started at a favorite art studio, and ended at the pumpkin patch with daddy. fall traditions, and bonus days with my girls, are the b e s t!

holy trinity gala- spent too much, drank too much, ate too many cookies. such a fun night with friends!

the school & activities year has picked up in busyness, and more than ever, the girls are having a blast & i'm choosing to be mindful in enjoying the precious time that we're home, unscheduled. bea & i are so enjoying our days together as we've had a small handful of cooler days to spend outside. this week beings october, and the pumpkin patch is calling our name!
