whooowheee, this was our final week before our fall schedule is in full swing. dance classes start back up tomorrow night for the school year, and soccer, spelling tests, and meals on-the-go are all a part of this season of life. we're fortunate that our girls are thriving, look forward to school & activities, and are happy to just be kids hanging around the house making up crazy games & bizarre scenarios to act out over & over again.

hillsville flea market

what a treat to get to visit gramma & the great hillsville flea market this labor day weekend! the flea market began decades ago, and has grown in enormity each year. it's small town hillsville, virginia's great claim to fame. we laughed until we cried, indulged in homemade cherry ice cream & grannie's pink strawberry cake, and listened to gramma's childhood memories. i didn't want it to end-

jon & the girls had a fun-filled weekend, and i am counting down to squeezing them this afternoon!
