today we were all so so excited to get to celebrate our sweetest, curious, tender-hearted eloise! with recital next weekend, and her birthday falling the following tuesday when we're in seaside, today was the day to gather family, friends who are family & eloise's dearest classmates to celebrate her way!
when she first asked for a mcdonald's playplace party, i went searching & found a set of unopened 1985 mcdonald's party supplies & was so happy to get to implement them into her celebration! my sister's 3rd birthday was a playplace party, as were so many kids of the '70's and '80's. we received the star party treatment today, with the mcdonald's staff bringing in balloons, confetti, party blowers, and even an unexpected ronald mcdonald cake! it was hilarious & so much fun! moral of the story- everybody needs to get back on the mcdonald's party train- simple, no clean-up, an easy lunch for all & the best time evaaa!
