play-doh easter eggs to occupy some time during her sisters' naps. she does so well with independent play activities & eloise is starting to catch on, too!

1 2 3 easter baskets waiting for the bunny! we have our neighborhood egg hunt this saturday & my mom is doing one for the girls on easter evening. they've been playing with plastic eggs for weeks in anticipation :)

greek yogurt & strawberry pops- my sister got me these molds for christmas & the girls think these are a real treat! i literally just mixed together plain greek yogurt, chopped strawberries & ice. these & the $40 worth of girl scout cookies we have in the freezer are our dessert staples these days :) one of these is not like the others...

baby bea! we headed to the zoo for the first time this season yesterday- i'm so excited about our zoo membership this year! [i would have never brought the other girls to the zoo at 8 weeks old, especially without my husband! ...but life is so different with 3 babies age 3 & under. getting out of the house for fun activities is a must!]

so thankful for tarah & her patience for betsy & my nursing breaks :)

& eloise sneaking a peek of lucy in gymnastics this morning-

my baby turns 2 months new on easter day! i can hardly believe it.

life has been busy! eloise is getting her 2 year molars which has totally interrupted her sleep- ugh! i definitely blocked this out from when lucy was her age, but i'm quickly remembering the growing pains lucy went through when eloise was a newborn. because the girls are all the same age gap, it helps to reference when eloise was betsy's current age & lucy was eloise's current age. betsy has continued to be an awesome night sleeper- we've gotten 5, 6 & 7 hour stretches! naps have been a bit more troublesome over the past couple of weeks- she was continuing to wake up after 45 minutes, which i know is the length of her first sleep cycle. she definitely has not been ready to fully wake up after 45 minutes, but she wasn't able to relax enough to fall asleep again. i was feeling just a big desperate, SO i went to a newborn sleep class last weekend that was so so helpful [remember, putting a baby on a sleep schedule is completely new for me. i may be a 3rd time mom, but i've always had my babies sleep whenever/where ever- i no longer have that luxury as i care for my 2 big girls with a baby! jon says i run a tight ship these days, and i take that as the upmost compliment:)] we were given lots of sleep tips for gently helping baby cycle through sleep- i've been using the tips & thank God for blackout curtains, no night light & most recently, the "magic merlin sleep suit" [helps baby comfortably transition out of a swaddle, which was exactly what we were needing, as she's tried desperately to break out of her swaddle multiple times! it really is magical!]. b is back on track with naps & i'm a new mama to say the least :)
