hard to wrap our brains around the fact that these dad/daughter trips at ages 5 and 10 are in the memory bank. such special times for my people. 

being our last 10 year old feels heavy and beautiful-

and the rest of us survived. these girls keep us busy!!!

an unusually warm january, making "wintering" a challenge! the girls are back to busy with art classes, tennis, dance and voice, and of course, birthday prep for betsy. turning a whole decade next week!!

jon and bea are off to san diego tomorrow for her 10 year trip. i've having a hard time grasping that not only are the 5 year trips complete, but soon, the 10 year trips as well. next up: 16 year trips! time sure flies.

we're starting the new year with 2 new cpr certified babysitters in the house! 

so glad they did this looong day with friends :) 

and we wrapped up holiday gatherings with some of our favorites-
