possibly the busiest week of summer we've ever had, and i am severely lacking in the sleep department, but every single moment has been worth these lifelong memories we've made! 

holy trinity 1st graders take on theatre in the park! lucy's sweet friends and their awesome parents made her feel like a straight-up celebrity!

something very special about community coming together for the arts-

lucy & ms pam- hate how blurry it turned out, but never will forget how special she made lucy feel including her while designing & sewing lucy's very first musical theatre costume!

a beautiful, vibrant production-

& in the meantime, time with friends, dance watch weeks, special end-of-summer lunch dates & sleeping the morning away after staying up half the night-

lucy was so fascinated working with ms pam to design her costume that after seeing it come to life, her career aspirations shifted from barista to fashion designer. a few weeks ago, she handed gmom 4 sketches of outfits for she & eloise- and oh my goodness- gmom pulled through & solidified lucy's desire to learn to sew. this was a magical experience for the girls! i love lucy's inner self-talk presenting itself to the world here :)

& we are over the moon to have met our newest family addition- our first niece and the girls' first girl cousin. miss madden isabelle was born on august 3rd, and needless to say, we are all smitten <3

she's off to see the wizard!

my goodness, we have had the greatest week of them all! lucy has had so much fun [i mean, she is seriously enjoying these special nights so much!], and her sisters have been so excited about all the hype that i kinda want to bottle it up forever, and then sleep for many, many days after that ;) it's definitely taken a village- me dropping her off at 6pm for tech rehearsals, jon picking up at midnight, my mom coming over in the mornings so lucy can sleep in [until noon might i add!], while i take the littles about our errands, etc etc etc, but it's been time we will always, always treasure. watching her perform her heart out on opening night was the sweetest. so excited we get 8 more performances to soak it in!

the beginnings of tech week! she's made some precious friendships, and finding notes the kids pass back & forth to each other backstage, stuffed in her backpack the next day, gives me all the happy feels :)

super excited to be a tini with her sister & friends next season! which starts in a couple of weeks :)

lucy saw this while we were driving, and very much in character, told me to watch out for the witch ;)

business as usual for the rest of us-

e's 1st haircut! she loooved feeling pampered! kindergarten-bound!!

and we're off to get ready for another night under the stars :)
